The Beauty Box is a boutique spa known for its personalized skincare and esthetic services. While the business had an existing logo and strong word-of-mouth reputation, their website didn’t reflect the warmth, care, or attention to detail clients experience in person.
The goal was to redesign the site to feel elegant, calming, and service-focused—while making it easy for clients to connect with individual providers and book online.
The Challenge
The previous website felt generic and visually inconsistent with their brand. It didn’t highlight the team or make the booking process intuitive. Key challenges included:
- Aligning the site design with the established logo and brand aesthetic
- Creating a calming, modern visual style
- Building a more personal, trust-building experience through thoughtful content and layout
The Approach
I designed the site in WordPress, using a soft, natural color palette inspired by spa environments to evoke a sense of calm and trust. I built the design around the existing logo style, maintaining brand recognition while elevating the overall experience.
A major focus was showcasing the team. Each provider was given a dedicated section with their specialties, personality, and booking link. This personal approach helped clients feel connected and confident in their choice of provider. I also simplified navigation and made booking actions more visible and user-friendly across the site.
The Result
The redesigned website feels polished, welcoming, and aligned with The Beauty Box’s brand. The emphasis on individual team members helps personalize the experience, while the streamlined layout and modern design support easy browsing and booking. The client was excited to finally have a site that captured the heart of their business and worked beautifully on mobile.
