AJ Home Solutions offers handyman and home repair services, helping clients tackle everything from small fixes to full-home improvements. As a new business, they had no existing website or brand presence—just word-of-mouth referrals and a strong reputation for quality work.
The goal was to design a professional, approachable website from scratch that made it easy for customers to learn about their services and request help.
The Challenge
Without any existing site or branding, I had the opportunity to build everything from the ground up. The client wanted a simple, trustworthy design that felt modern but not overly polished. Key challenges included:
- Building trust through layout, messaging, and visuals
- Creating a clear structure and visual identity from scratch
- Communicating services without overwhelming visitors
The Approach
I designed the site in WordPress with a focus on simplicity and clarity. Services were organized into easy-to-scan sections, and I added strong calls to action to help guide users toward reaching out.
For branding, I used clean, modern typography and a confident color palette to convey reliability. I also designed custom icons and subtle graphic elements to enhance visual consistency without overcomplicating the layout.
The Result
The new site gave AJ Home Solutions an official online presence that reflected the professionalism and care they bring to every job. It’s mobile-friendly, easy to navigate, and built with future growth in mind. The client appreciated how the design made their business feel “real” and gave them a foundation to expand their reach.
